Pentax Unveils New 8 Megapixel Optio V20 Digital Camera

Pentax has announced the 8 megapixel Optio V20 compact digital camera with a 5X zoom lens and a 3-inch LCD.
This Camera has a 3 essential Features to help users optimize portrait photographs
The Face Recognition function of this camera mechanically discover and focuses on faces, then sets the optimum exposure. The Smile Capture function discover the key facial appearance of smiling people and freeing the shutter automatically, also the Blink Detection function notify to the user whether any subjects closed their eyes in an image, so that the shot can be recaptured if essential.
8 megapixel resolution with 5x optical zoom.
52MB of integrated memory.
The Pentax Optio V20 will ship in May 2008 for US $279.
Additional features include Auto-tracking AF for constantly focusing on a moving subject, 52MB of built-in memory, a SD/SDHC extension slot and an Auto-Macro mode that let close-up photography as near as 4 inches (10 cm) with no changing the regular focusing mode.
