Dear Bill and Melinda Gates, I know this is probably the most foolish thing that I have ever done in my entire life. My husband of 25 years died from cancer in Nov. 2001. My mother died in Oct. 2000., and my dad died in March 2002.
I had a dream to be financially stable and never needed to borrow money from anyone..The only reason I’m writing is to ask if you could possibly donate me a car. I drive a ‘96 Lincoln Continental that gets 13 mpg. and there are different things beginning to go wrong with it. The only car I would like to have a Toyota Prius, fully loaded….I know you have the money to donate the car to me, if you just will. In 2004, I married a “stupid” man who went through my savings and everything I had….I am now living in a 1 bedroom HUD apartment and I draw social security….I just don’t want a car payment…Please help me…I would be grateful to you and your wife.
