Your Friend Tagged you? How to get rid off Tagged Mail?

I often receive email from friends saying they Tagged me. I checked the detail of Taggedmail website, and its simply a money making website. Now… you are likely to receive this type of mail more in future…

No.1 Reason is this website has a feature to export all email address from other mail account such as yahoo, hotmail, gmail and outlook. Once the user give the ID and password, all email address is exported to their website and then they sent tagged email from your ID. The best idea to get billions of email address and use to spam.

This type of mail will may not go to bulk folder or Junk Folder. Because they always sent the email in your friends ID, to make sure that you will receive the email.

Now… the biggest Problem is, you will receive this type of mail until you register with them. Reminder letter is automatically being sent every week without the knowledge of the user who recommended you to register with this site.

If you say this Mail is Spam, your friends email address will go to SPAM list… you don’t want that.. then how to get ridd of this “tagged you” in future. Here is the simple way…

Most Email has filter mail facility such as Go to Setting > Filters > Create New Filter

and you will see a field like Subject:….. and Message:…..

enter this words Tagged you! :)

Check the Option “Delete” and now you will never receive another email telling that your freind tagged you.
