How to Enhance Your Ipod’s Life
May 24, 2007
Since its introduction, iPod has impacted several spheres of human life: be it music, pop culture, fashion or education. You’ve specially-designed jackets with hidden wiring for MP3 players, and even footwear that syncs seamlessly with an Apple iPod. Now Levi’s has jumped on the iPod fashion bandwagon with Red-Wire jeans, a line of denims that are designed with the iPod in mind. The beautiful player has revolutionised our lives like no other music gadget. As the music player goes on enhancing its marketshare and Apple’s fortune, here are a few simple tips to enhance the life of the beautiful player.
Mr Temperamental Just like humans, your iPod too doesn’t like excessive heat or cold. Extreme temperatures may affect your iPod’s performance. The iPod works best in temperatures between 10 degrees to 35 degrees Celsius, and might behave erratically otherwise. However, in case you accidentally left it in the cold for too long, let the iPod warm up to room temperature before turning it on, else it might flash its dreaded Low Battery icon in your face. Also, never leave iPod in a vehicle’s interior when parked in the sun. Exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods of time may harm your iPod.
Never charge iPod while it is in a carrying case or cover. Always, let it breathe when you charge it up. Place it upright in its charging dock and take it out of any case or cover you might use with it, so the heat of the charging battery doesn’t get trapped within.
